Today was the day Team C formally presented the new Soul Chain website to Mona—and to the entire class. Team C worked very hard this term and as a result are very proud of the end result.

MAY 20 - Soul Chain Update

Today, Team C had a brief meeting with Mona to show her the progress the group is making on the website. We are very excited that the website is coming along and that Mona will have—after June 1—a new Soul Chain website.

The next time Team C will have Mona come in is:
June 1st @ 9:30am - PSU Art Building (located at 2000 SW 5th Ave.) - Room 135 when we officially present and celebrate the launch of the Soul Chain website with Mona, MESO and the entire 440 class!

MAY 18 - Soul Chain update

As of now, things are going good with production of the Soul Chain website. Last Wednesday Team C had a meeting with Mona where we got her signed up on Lunarpages.com (to host her new website).

REMINDER: Meeting with Mona this Wednesday, May 20 @ 9:30am in Neuberger Hall Room 251.

**As of today, the entire 440 class voted that JUNE 1st would be the day where we will have all clients come in and each group will present final websites to the client. Location of presentations will be announced soon.

MAY 12 - Soul Chain update

Update from Team C:

• The group has a majority of the collections photos and all three team members are in the process of cutting out images and placing on white backgrounds for the website.

• More work is being done to the layouts of the websites. No coding has commenced as of now since Wednesday Mona will be coming in at 9am for further discussions—and to get her set up on Lunarpages.com.

REPEAT: Mona will be coming in Wednesday at 9am in Neuberger Hall lab Room 251.

MAY 9-10 - Soul Chain update

The latest update from Team C:

• We have .zip drives of collection photos that all three of us were given—and categorized by collection such as Poncho, Merino Wool or Cashmere, and Swimwear. Tomorrow (Monday, May 11) Team C will begin work on the collections page with each team member tackling 1-2 collections.

• Team C has one more meeting with Mona - Monday, May 18 @ 9am!

APRIL 29 - Soul Chain website update

Work has begun on the Soul Chain website. From today's class, Team C accomplished:

• Deciding on a final website design for Soul Chain
• Looking at all photo CDs and dividing up minor photo-touch-up work for each group member.
• Putting together final list of what the group needs from Mona for website (list of businesses she sells to, what items go into collections, etc)

OVER THE WEEKEND:
• Email Mona about LunerPages & price breakdown, list of stores Soul Chain sells to, and also reminding her to have photos by Monday!
• Nail down what's going on About and Events pages
• Do photo corrections to set of images the group has picked (to be divided up amongst the group members)
• PUSH THE WEBSITE FURTHER!!

Our meeting with Mona will be MONDAY, MAY 4 @9:00am in Neuberger Hall Room 251

At our meeting on Monday, we will be:
• Showing the final design we have chosen for Soul Chain

Team C - Soul Train production schedule

Here is Team C's estimated production schedule for the term

• April 8 - Create site map and assign all group members to create 3-4 website mock-ups (home page and sample page) for Monday. All three group members create illustrated flourish ideas for Monday.
- LIZ: Currently researching analytical information and will create an outline for Mona
– Try email communication with Mona in the next day or two!

• April 13 - Nicole, Liz and Scott bring in 3-4 website mock-ups & determine the final four to show Mona on April 20; go over site map and make any changes?

• April 15 - Make tweaks to site map and/or website mock-ups, prepare items for April 20th meeting with Mona; get in email contact with Mona.

As Team C dives into site map creation for Soul Chain this morning, team member Scott Bryant took some time to research web marketing and how other users/companies use to market their website.

On Wednesday, April 1, Team C got in contact with Mona McDonald, owner of Soul Chain boutique.

On Thursday, April 2, Team C sent out an email to Mona regarding the meeting time we set up with her on Wednesday. Below is the email sent to Mona:
